Privacy Policy

This policy covers two things: creatornetworking.com (this website and its
store) and the Weight Tracker Android app. The short version of both: we do
not collect or sell your personal data.
1. The website (creatornetworking.com)
This site is a digital-product store built on WordPress + WooCommerce. What it collects:
- Order information — when you buy a product, we process the transaction
through PayPal and need your name, email, and billing details to deliver your purchase and send
receipts. We do not store your credit-card or PayPal account numbers; those are handled entirely
by the payment provider. - Account information — if you create a site account, we store your username and
email to keep your purchases and downloads available. - Contact form / forum — if you contact us or post on the community forum, we
keep what you send so we can respond. Do not post personal or financial details publicly. - Site analytics — Google Site Kit may collect aggregate, anonymous usage
statistics (pages visited, approximate region) so we can improve the site. This does not identify
you personally.
We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it for
advertising profiles. Payment details are processed by PayPal under their own privacy policy.
2. The Weight Tracker Android app
Weight Tracker is local-first and private by design. It does not collect,
share, sell, or transmit any of your personal data.
- All your data stays on your device. Your profile, weight entries, meals, food
logs, water, activity, and photos are stored only in the app’s local database on your phone. - No account. No login. No cloud sync. There is nothing to sign up for and no
server holding your data. - Advertising (free version only). The free version on Google Play uses Google AdMob to show interstitial ads. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK may collect device/advertising identifiers, app activity, and IP-derived approximate location to serve ads. Your health data is never sent to ads — profile, weight, meals, photos and logs stay in the app’s local database.
- Ad-free version available. A one-time $15 purchase on creatornetworking.com gets the ad-free build, where the ad SDK is disabled in the app itself and no ad data is collected.
- Permissions. The app asks only for notifications (optional reminders) and
internet and network-state access (ads in the free version + an optional food-database update; neither transmits your personal data). - You control your data. Use Export Backup to save a JSON file
anywhere you choose, and Import Backup to restore it. Delete everything by uninstalling
or clearing the app’s data. There is no server-side copy for anyone (including us) to delete —
which is the honest trade-off of privacy-by-default.
3. Data deletion / requests
For the website: email or use the contact form to request deletion of your account or order
data, and we will honor it. For the app: your data is entirely on your device, so you can delete
it at any time (uninstall or clear data). We hold no copy.
Optional Google Fit sync (opt-in only): a “Sync Weight from Google Fit” button in the app’s Settings reads weight history from your own Google Fit account into this device, only when you choose to connect it. The app never writes to Google Fit and never transmits this data anywhere. If you do not tap the button, no Google Fit data is accessed at all.
4. Children’s privacy
Neither the website nor the app is directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly
collect data from anyone under 13.
5. Changes to this policy
We will update this page if anything changes, with a new effective date. Please review it
periodically.
