Almost every fitness app asks for an account before you log your first entry — and with that account, your weight history, meal log, and body measurements end up on a server somewhere, tied to an email address, feeding an ad profile you never agreed to. For a lot of people, that alone is the reason they don’t track at all.
Weight Loss Tracker is built the other way around: local-first and private by design.
- No account. No login. You create a local profile on your device and start tracking.
- No cloud sync. All your data — weight entries, meals, saved meals, water and activity logs, and your photo journal — is stored exclusively on your device. Nothing is transmitted by the app.
- You stay in control of your data. When you want to back up or move devices, you export your data to a file of your choosing (Downloads, Drive, wherever you pick), and restore it later. If you delete the app without exporting first, the data goes with it — which is the honest trade-off of privacy-by-default.
What it does: weight logging with a progress graph and historical views, BMI and body-fat calculators, a searchable food database with meal building and daily diet tracking, calorie and macro tracking toward your own goals, water and activity logging, a before-and-after photo journal stored only on your device, and configurable reminders.
What it does not do: it doesn’t diagnose, prescribe, or promise results. Weight and calorie tracking are informational tools — how you use them is up to you and your healthcare provider. The app’s one honest promise is about your data: it stays on your device.
Weight Loss Tracker for Android is coming soon — built by the same team behind the CreatorNetworking store. No account, no cloud sync, your data stays on your phone.
