Emily WalkerParticipantHelp! I posted 5 videos today, trying to catch up on a viral sound, and they all totally flopped. I usually only do 2. Is posting too often actually hurting my reach? Am I spamming my own followers? I’m worried! 😭

James asherParticipantHey , tough spot, I get it. It really depends on what you posted. Were they all super similar or basically the same trend, just with different outfits or text?

Emily WalkerParticipantYeah, honestly. They were all variations on that same “What I can do vs. What I actually do” trend. I was just swapping out the chore/task.

James asherParticipantAh, that’s almost certainly why. The algorithm saw it as low-value repetition. Think of it this way: If a viewer scrolls past you 5 times in an hour, and they only watched the first 3 seconds of the first one, that signals disinterest five times. It confuses the algorithm and teaches it that your recent content isn’t worth pushing. Posting 5x is fine, but each post needs to bring new value—new hook, new information, new vibe. Space them out, or at least make the next video look totally different! Good luck! 👍

Emily WalkerParticipantOhhh, okay! That makes perfect sense. The “signaling disinterest” part is the lightbulb moment for me. Lesson learned—quality over volume when batching trends. I’ll space them out and focus on variety. Thanks, 🙏
